๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง is Sydney Harbour's large-format party catamaran โ a 24-metre (79ft) Incat Crowther-designed vessel licensed to carry up to 400 passengers, making it one of the biggest private charter boats on the harbour. Where most Sydney boat hire tops out around 100 guests, Fusion is built for the events that don't fit anywhere else: the 250-person Christmas party, the 300-guest corporate function, the milestone birthday where the entire extended family and every friend gets an invitation. Fusion hires by the deck, so a 60-person birthday and a 350-person end-of-year party are both perfectly sized โ you take the space you need and pay for that alone.
Across two levels, Fusion carries two fully licensed bars, a proper dance floor, a DJ booth, integrated plasma and LCD screens, a state-of-the-art sound system with microphone and PA, air-conditioning throughout, ample restrooms, a fully equipped commercial galley with cool room, and a dedicated food server. The main deck cabin seats around 120 or holds 150 cocktail-style, while the upper deck adds another 80 with 360-degree open-air views across the harbour โ Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline wrapping around you as you cruise. Powered by twin Caterpillar C7 engines, she's a stable, quiet, purpose-built event platform rather than a converted pleasure craft, which is exactly what a 300-person function needs.
Fusion is hired as a four-hour cruise. Upper Level is $3,500 (JanuaryโOctober) or $4,500 (NovemberโDecember); Main Level is $4,000 / $5,000; and the Whole Boat is $6,000 / $6,500 โ all including one captain, one deckhand and one cruise director. Wharf booking is $130 for pick-up and drop-off. Fusion is genuinely BYO-friendly: bring your own plates, cutlery and tablecloths and BYO food costs nothing, or pay $5โ$6 per person to have it supplied; BYO drinks is a flat $400 covering the RSA bar staff. In-house catering runs from $85 per person for canapรฉs up to $120 for the seafood buffet, with Bronze, Silver and Gold beverage packages from $65 to $80 per person. Operated by Fusion Cruises (Jade Zhao) out of Gladesville, with multiple pick-up and drop-off wharves available across Sydney Harbour.
