๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ is a luxury French-designed sailing catamaran on Sydney Harbour for up to 20 guests, and she is the rare charter boat that is genuinely built for families. During her refit she was fitted with the highest standard of safety features, including lifelines designed to protect the youngest guests โ so parents can actually relax. She came to Sydney from a life on the high seas and brought the equipment with her: snorkelling gear, two stand-up paddle boards and a large lily pad, a swimming ladder, and a fresh-water outdoor shower with hot and cold water to wash the salt off afterwards.
Her layout works in any weather. The fully covered afterdeck can be enclosed against the wind and combines with the internal saloon โ panoramic windows, a dining table and a comfortable lounge โ to make one large connected space seating up to 16. Forward, the large sundeck and bow have two pulpit seats for seated viewing and a soft deck made for lying back in the sun with a glass of champagne. Below there are cabins for changing, a bathroom with an electric marine toilet, and a fully equipped galley with fridge, freezer, and an oven and microwave on request. There is a Bluetooth stereo with speakers inside and out, so you can play your own playlist. There is even room at the helm if you want to try your hand at sailing when conditions allow.
Every charter includes an experienced skipper and a host who takes care of the day and the cleaning up, plus soft drinks, juices, sodas, still and sparkling water, ice, crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving equipment and eskies. One pick-up and one drop-off wharf fee is included. Off-peak (April to October) runs from $1,100 for two hours, $1,500 for three and $2,000 for four; peak seasons are $1,650 to $2,400. BYO food and drinks are welcome with no BYO fee, or choose from catering packages from $15 per person up to a $100 seafood platter. Operated by Michael Read of Sailing Miss Golightly, a family-run business.
