𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 is one of Sydney Harbour’s largest and most complete luxury superyachts available for charter — a 113ft Lloyd’s-built motor yacht (marketed by the operator as “Shore Thing 115”) that carries up to 70 guests for day events and sleeps 8 overnight across four private cabins. Formerly cruising under the name “Dreamtime” before a full 2024 refit, she now pairs proven Lloyd’s-built aluminium construction with a genuinely modern fit-out: a jacuzzi set into the Portuguese bow, an extended flybridge built purely for entertaining, at-anchor stabilizers, and a full water toys program through her own Ocean Beach Club. She’s the boat to lead with for corporate events, weddings, milestone celebrations, sunset cruises and multi-night escapes where 40–70 guests need genuine deck space and a crew that runs the whole day.

Onboard, Shore Thing is built for both big-group entertaining and quiet luxury. The Portuguese bow jacuzzi and extended flybridge give guests two distinct entertaining zones above deck, while the aluminium hull and at-anchor stabilizers mean she sits flat and comfortable even at rest — a real point of difference against timber-hulled competitors of a similar size. Below deck, four cabins (a Master King, two VIP Queens and a set of Twin singles) sleep 8 in proper overnight comfort, finished to the same standard as the refitted saloon and formal dining space. Cruising at a relaxed 12–15 knots, she carries a 9m Gemini Waverider tender for transfers and exploring, light fishing gear for guests who want to drop a line, and a full professional crew who run service, safety and the water toys program throughout the charter. It’s a boat equally suited to a 70-guest corporate cocktail function, a formal seated wedding, or a slow three-night mothership run for a game-fishing group.

Shore Thing runs on a seasonal hourly rate — $2,400/hour non-peak (Feb–Oct) and $2,600/hour in peak season (Nov–Jan), 4-hour minimum — but the team should always check the discounted day packages first: $13,000 for 6 hours / $16,000 for 8 hours non-peak, rising to $14,400 / $17,600 in peak season. Overnight charters run $18,000 for a single night, drop to $16,000/night for 3+ nights, and $105,000 for a full week, plus an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of 20–30% of the charter hire to cover fuel, berthing and provisions (unused portion refunded). BYO alcohol is available at $5pp/hour but only in non-peak season and strictly on application.
